How Leadership Coaching impacts company culture
I was extremely honored when Raymond Faulkner the General Manager of Holiday Inn, invited me into the organization to train and coach all of his senior leaders in Brisbane.
Back in 2010, I was working with one of his team members, who was feeling insecure in the role that she was holding. It was a sales manager role, and she was losing confidence which started to spiral down her work performance.
I worked with her privately as one of my clients and noticed a huge transformation that was occurring from our sessions. I received a phone call from her General Manager Raymond, who wanted to speak to me about the changes that had occurred with his team member.
Raymond invited me into Holiday Inn Brisbane to speak to be about what was occurring wit the team member.
Leadership Coaching - The Solution- Creating Long Term Change
After several conversations with Raymond and understanding the current areas of improvement, I was asked to submit a proposal of how to move forward with coaching and training of 12 senior leaders of the company.
Conducted initial setup meetings with each senior leader, discussed her individual goals and career progression requirements. Outlined the plan and the commitment level that was required from them to ensure that the program was a success
Conducted monthly training sessions for the team. These ran for a 6 month period. Having real conversations during these sessions, brought the cross departments closer together , working more cohesively with collaboration
Leadership and Team Coaching
Looking for Help with Newly appointed leaders or needing team alignment?

Conducted weekly one-on-one sessions with each team leader. Discussed any current challenges they were experiencing, along with focusing on their professional development requirements . Each session they were given actionable steps to execute which they were held accountable. All sessions were documented and the overviews were discussed with Raymond in our monthly meetings.
The program was a success and Raymond noticed that the long term change were consistent with all of the 12 leaders. He then approached me to coach him personally.
I was honored to work with such a humble leader that valued continuous education and development, at all levels of the company.
