#1 We show Respect and Consideration to Others
As Business Leaders we demonstrate the behaviors of Leaders. We treat everyone with respect and authenticity. We praise openly showing genuine caring for others.
#2 We Edify and Validate others
We never insult ideas of others in our tribe. When we use ideas from others, we give them credit. We actively listen to others first before giving our viewpoint. We seek to understand before being understood.
#3 We have strong Conviction:
We have a strong vision and the willingness to see it through. As a leader we believe in our community mission and actively work towards it; with inspiration and a resource to our followers.
#4 We have Integrity
One definition of integrity is to be unified. Therefore, a person of integrity will not have divided loyalties nor are they actors. They do not suffer from duplicity or hypocrisy. They are single-minded in their pursuits. They are open and have nothing to hide

#5 We believe and lead our community
We acknowledge that we have been placed in our community for a purpose, for a reason. We choose to take a lead in our community. We take responsibility for the homeless, for the unemployed and for the unhappy. We make a choice, every single day, to ensure that our neighbors become our friends, to smile at strangers, to give gifts of love and physical gifts whenever we see fit. We see ourselves as leaders within our community and we lead a movement of powerful life change whenever we see that it is our responsibility to do so.
#6 The greatest failure is in never doing. :
You have a purpose here on planet Earth. Through the fulfilment of your purpose lives will change – businesses will be created to solve employment problems, a cure for cancer will be found. New inventions will be created, homelessness and poverty will be wiped out. The only way that any of this can happen is if you get up, every single day and hold yourself accountable to your own success. Every wall is to be leaped, every dead end is to be conquered in the knowledge that you are getting closer and closer
to the realization of your dream. Failure doesn’t exist, simple.
#7 Transform negative self-talk into positive self-talk. :
Negative self-talk can creep up easily and is often hard to notice. You might think I’m so bad at this or I shouldn’t have tried that. But these thoughts turn into internalized feelings and might cement your conceptions of yourself. When we catch ourself doing this, stop and replace those negative messages with positive ones. For example, I’m so bad at this becomes Once I get more practice, I’ll be way better at this. I shouldn’t have tried becomes That didn’t work out as planned—maybe next time.
#8 We take serious action.
The only way to push boundaries and to make the impossible, possible is by taking action. We never know until we try, we never master until we break through. We determine to take action in every area of our lives.
#9 This is a ‘we’ and a ‘us’ thing not a ‘me’ thing.
This belongs to us – to me, to you, to us. Each and everyone of us contributes to starting change revolution in our own lives, our streets, our cities and in the world. We are a community of people who are passionately committed to having a profoundly positive impact on the world. We chose to make it our responsibility to see ‘life change’ flow like a river, wherever we set our feet. There is no “guru” only “us,” learning, growing and sharing together.
#10 We have Flexibility and Certainty
Not every problem demands the same solution. By being flexible to new ideas and open-minded enough to consider them, we increase the likelihood that we will find the best possible answer. We will set a good example for our team and reward good ideas.
#11 We are all ‘elders’ who impart wisdom.
In Fiji no matter who you are in the tribe, you share your story. Every life experience, every piece of knowledge gained, every idea, every thought is valuable. No matter who you are or where you are from you have wisdom to share. We always impart wisdom and we always respect the wisdom of each other.
#12 Laugh, Have Fun and Remain Passionate
Allow yourself to in even the darkest or most trying situations. Remind ourself that this situation will probably make for a good story later and try to crack a joke about it. Say you’re laid off; imagine the most absurd way you could spend your last day, or the most ridiculous job you could pursue next—like kangaroo handler or bubblegum sculptor. Strive to be the best that you can be.
#13 We are Consistent and Honest
Being a consistent leader will gain us respect and credibility, which is essential to getting buy-in from our group. By setting an example of fairness and credibility, our team will want to act the same way. Being honest, especially about concerns, make it far more likely that obstacles will be addressed rather than avoided. Honesty also allows for better assessment and growth.
#14 Focus on the good things, however small.
Almost invariably, we will encounter obstacles throughout the day—there’s no such thing as a perfect day. When we encounter such a challenge, we focus on the benefits, no matter how slight or unimportant they seem. For example, if you get stuck in traffic, think about how you now have time to listen to the rest of your favorite podcast. If the store is out of the food you want to prepare, think about the thrill of trying something new.
#15 Find positive friends, mentors and co-workers
When we hear positive outlooks, positive stories and positive affirmations. Their positive words will sink in and affect our own line of thinking, which then affects our words and similarly contributes to the tribe. Finding positive people to fill up our life can be difficult, but we need to eliminate the negativity in our life before it consumes us. Do what you can to improve the positivity of others, and let their positivity affect you the same way.
