Have you heard the saying - fail to plan, then plan to fail?
I speak to a lot of people in business on a daily basis around their business goals and the activities they are currently working on. I have noticed that a common theme is that they are extremely busy, trying to do everything within their day.
Being a coach and trainer for over 19 years, I have noticed that a lot of times why a business fails, is not due to the knowledge that the business owner has, it is due to not taking the right action within their business.
Quite often we can be really busy doing stuff. However are we sticking to our plan that has been set for the upcoming months. Have we spent time thinking about the results that we are looking for within our business from a strategic mindset.
Or are we just reacting to the situation, and hoping that things will work and change within our business. Believe me I spent a lot of time when I first started my business, in the 'hope it will work out' mindset and having many sleepless nights, worrying and stressing.
Now being a Entrepreneur is not easy. It takes a lot of consistent work, picking yourself up and dusting yourself off, testing and measuring and investing time into continual education and research.
Productivity is the Key - Setting Daily Goals
Being a coach I totally understand the importance of asking yourself the right question to gain insights on how you work on your business. Yes that is right, on your business, not in your business. At the end of your day, ask yourself 'how productive have I been today?' Instead of saying 'how busy you have been! .
In this article I am going to focus on simply having daily goals. This will help you to maintain focus for the day.
Why is it important to set Daily Goals?

You feel more in control of your day, when you have a plan. Remove overwhelm and frustration by using the right tools and structures within your business.
Makes it easy to set Priorities. Having everything laid out in front of you, and out of your head gives you clarity as to what needs to be completed now.
Gives you the concrete steps of what needs to be done.There are some great tools available that will help you manage this process on internet that are free. I recommend Trello Boards if you are a visual person and like to move things around.
You can easily see the wins that you are achieving which creates more motivation and momentum within your daily routine.
