Productivity - Setting Daily Goals

Have you heard the  saying - fail to plan, then plan to fail?

I speak to a lot of people in business on a daily basis around their business goals and the activities they are currently working on. I have noticed that a common theme is that they are extremely busy, trying to do everything  within their day.

Being a coach and trainer for over 19 years, I have noticed that a lot of times why a business fails, is not due to the knowledge that the business owner has, it is due to not taking the right action within their business.

Quite often we can be really busy doing stuff. However are we sticking to our plan that has been set for the upcoming months. Have we spent time thinking about the results that we are looking for within our business from a strategic mindset.

Or are we just reacting to the situation, and hoping that things will work and change within our business. Believe me I spent a lot of time when I first started my business, in the 'hope it will work out' mindset and having many sleepless nights, worrying and stressing.

Now being a Entrepreneur is not easy. It takes a lot of consistent work, picking yourself  up and dusting yourself off, testing and measuring and investing time into continual education  and research.

Productivity is the Key - Setting Daily Goals

Being a coach I totally understand the importance of asking yourself the right question to gain insights on how you work on your business. Yes that is right, on your business, not in your business. At the end of your day,  ask yourself 'how productive have I been today?' Instead of saying 'how busy you have been! .
